At the top of the Dashboard are a number of Queues, the functionality of which is explained below.
Please note that the availability of queues is completely based on configuration.
• | Medical Transcription Status queue – For clients who choose to use our medical transcription service, this allows the user to view any transcribed reports imported into their software |
• | Fax queue – Allows the user to download and view new and unread faxes |
• | eRx Status queue – Displays the status of failed faxes, as well as incoming pharmacy renewal requests |
Note: An eRx listed as “pending” would require further action by the user before it is routed to the pharmacy.
• | eResult queue – Allows users to view any new or abnormal electronic lab or radiology results, as well as orders with pending results |
Note: When an unsolicited eResult (without patient name mapped) is deleted, it is moved to the Recycle Bin. Further, the results in the Recycle Bin can be permanently deleted or restored back as well. When other results are deleted, they are removed from the quick list but can be viewed from Facesheet or Results/Orders Queue.
• | eOrder queue – Allows users to view unprocessed electronic lab or radiology orders that would require further action by the user before routing to the lab |
• | Direct E-mail – Stores all the arrived referral summaries as messages in the system |
• | Current Week Co-Signature – Allows users to view the Encounter notes for co-signing, co-sign them, re-assign them to another provider for co-signing, setting them to high priority list, and removing them from the list temporarily to co-sign at a later stage. |
• | Current Week Encounters Queue – Allows users to view the encounters of the current week. Based on the permissions, users can edit, delete, or end encounters. Users can also view Encounter note and send it for co-signature to the senior provider. |
