The internal staff members of the practice can communicate with each other by sending messages. The Messages screen consists of different tabs, such as Inbox, Draft, Compose, Sent, Unread, and Trash. You can also view the total number of messages on the bottom right corner of the each tab.
To access Messages, on the Dashboard screen, click any link (Unread / Total Messages / Sent Messages / Compose) from the Messages tab.

Inbox
The Inbox tab contains both read and unread messages received from the internal staff members of the practice. Click the subject line of any message to open that message in the grid below it. You can view the total number of messages on the bottom left corner of the screen. Use the page numbers at the bottom right corner of the screen to navigate through multiple pages of messages.
Basic functionality of the Inbox tab is explained below:

Click to delete the message from the system. In case of multiple deletion, you need to select one or more messages from the list before clicking the Delete icon. |

If the message has an attachment, click this icon to view the attachment. |
Drafts
The Drafts tab contains the messages which were created and saved for later use. You can save a message as a draft by clicking the Save button at the time of composing a message.
Compose
The Compose tab is used to compose a new message. You can also mark the message as important by clicking the Priority icon .
Basic functionality of the Compose tab is explained below:

Sent
Upon sending a message, that message will appear in the Sent tab. Click the Subject link of any message to view the contain of that message. You can also Reply, Reply All, and Forward this message by clicking the appropriate icon present on the right side of the screen.
Unread
Unread messages appear in both the Inbox and the Unread tab. Once you have read all the unread messages, no messages will be displayed in the Unread tab. By default, the Inbox tab contains all of the received messages.
Trash
The messages which were deleted from the system can be seen in the Trash tab.
Searching for Messages
Use the Search tab to find particular messages from the complete list. You can search those messages using various search options, such as Text Search, Priority, Category, Sent By, and so forth.
