A visit date can be mapped to an unsolicited result only when the patient name is mapped to the result. Once the visit date is mapped, the patient name cannot be changed. The result details can also be updated from this place and is explained below.
To map a visit date to a result:
1. | On the New Lab Result(s) screen, click theicon next to the Test to expand the Order/Result Details panel. |
2. | Select the Visit Date to be mapped to the result from the drop-down list. |
Note: The Visit Date field is displayed only for results that are mapped to patients.
3. | Click Save. |
