Mapping Patients to Unsolicited eResults and Changing Mapped Patients

A patient name can be mapped to an unsolicited result. The mapped patient name can also be changed if the visit date is not mapped.

To map a patient to a result and change a patient:

1.On the New Lab Result(s) screen, do the following:
To map a patient to a result, enter patient name in the text box provided or select the patient using the INSYNC~1_img59 icon below the Map to Patient column for that result.
To change a patient mapped to a result, enter patient name in the text box provided or select the patient using the INSYNC~1_img59 icon below the Change Patient column for that result.

Note: The above field is not displayed if the result is mapped to visit date.

2.Once the patient name is mapped to results, hover the mouse pointer over theINSYNC~1_img61icon near the patient name. On the pop up message displayed, do the following:
Health Summary Report - Click the Health Summary Report link to navigate to the Health Summary Report Screen. For details refer to the Health Information section in Working with Encounters.
Last Visit Encounter Note - Click the Last Visit Encounter Note link to view the latest encounter Encounter note. The icon will not be displayed if the patient does not have any encounter.
Facesheet - Click the Facesheet link to navigate to the patient’s Facesheet page. For details on facesheet, refer to the Working with Facesheet section.
