The lab, radiology, and transcription services results can be downloaded in the system for the practice. To configure the Transcription service feature, please contact the InSync Client Support team.

Additionally, a patient’s lab, radiology, and transcription services results for which the orders are placed from other practice can also be downloaded from the NYU HIE through HL7 at this point. These results will be downloaded only when the patient’s consent is recorded on the Patient Information screen.

Notes:

•Receiving a lab result electronically or manually is the criteria to increase numerator for “Core 10: Incorporate clinical lab test results as a structured data” of MU-2. Please refer to the above section in Meaningful Use Stage – 2 User Guide for more details.
•Receiving a radiology result electronically or manually is the criteria to increase numerator for “Menu Set 3: Imaging Results” of MU-2. Please refer to the above section in Meaningful Use Stage – 2 User Guide for more details.

 

To download an eResult:

1.On the New Lab Result(s) screen, select the category as Lab, Radiology, or Transcription from the drop-down list.
2.Click the “Get Result(s)” button. The list of results is displayed in a grid below based on the category selected.
